Art Deco beaded evening purses make perfect bridal accessories
Beaded evening purses from the Art Deco era are particularly beautiful.  Generally small in size they are the perfect accessory for a bride.  Dating from the 1920s and 1930s these beautiful little clutch style handbags were often hand beaded in France.  Back in the 1920s and 30s if a girl was going out for the evening she would only need to take a lipstick, hanky, dance card and maybe a coin or two.  Her beau would certainly be paying for the evening out, she wouldn't carry things like a door key or a full make up bag and there were no mobiles back in those days.  What a difference there is now when even on an evening out today's modern woman will often carry a bag of giant proportions and will have just about everything in it too!
