I formed Kay Burt Investments in June 2007 to provide financial advice and ongoing service to high net worth clients with investment portfolios of over £200,000, although many clients have several million pounds under management. Prior to this, I performed a similar investment advisory role for two different Norwich accountancy practices for 5 years. Before this I was employed at Norwich Union, where I worked as the Investment Strategist for 6 years before this department moved down to London. There I was responsible for recommending where Norwich Union should invest all of its Investment and Pension Managed Funds ie how much to allocate to commercial property, UK equities, international equities, gilts, and corporate bonds. Before this I was a stockbroker and discretionary portfolio manager in New Zealand where I started work in 1986, hence I now have over 20 years of experience in financial services.
