Military Mental Health CIC (MMH) is a social enterprise and is designed to benefit veterans of the armed forces. MMH do this in the following ways:1) All core staff to be veterans2) To act in the best interest of the veterans community3) To provide a quality 'one-stop-shop' service to veterans4) To raise awareness of veterans issues within public sector organisations5) To maintain professional standards at all times6) To deliver a reliable and trusted serviceMMH provides training and consultancy with the intention of raising awareness of the issues faced by Armed Forces Veterans to the public sector particularly the NHS.We raise awareness on the following; Combat Related Stress, Military to Civilian Transition, Alcohol and Substance use, Homelessness and Anger issues.The aim is to enhance awareness amongst health care professionals so they are able to be better placed to understand military culture, communicate more effectively with veterans and make timely referrals
