The Bridge St AsaphLower Street, St Asaph, LL17 0SGTel: 01745 582 716Website: The Bridge, built circa 1536 as a brewery, has enjoyed a dramatic make-over following its purchase by the owners of the Oriel Country Hotel and Spa, St Asaph. It opened doors on the 4 December 2009 as a family gastro-pub. The refurbishment and layout has been dictated by its 16 century architecture and purpose while the outside remains unchanged, the interior has been brought up to date by introducing modern levels of design and comfort. The building is constructed on three levels, with a cocktail bar and small library with log fire on the ground floor. This leads to the next level housing a pizza oven and eating area and finally to the top level where we can accommodate up to 30 people. The menu is influenced by the international background of award winning Head Chef Salvatore Tassari, who was born in Naples. Sav's enthusiasm for food that tastes and looks good stems from his wide experience and years working in Michelin star Restaurants which includes stints in Italy, Australia and Spain as well as the UK. His intention is to offer dishes that provide flavours, good appearance and provide excellent value for money.
