An Ideal base for sightseeing, walking and cycling in Shropshire. Adults only. Dogs welcome. We offer both Grass and Hard standing pitches with electric hook up and Grass pitches without electric. The Glamping Pods have a double bed settee, kettle, plates and crockery for 2 adults, small fridge and heater. You need to bring your own bedding (sheet, pillows and duvet or sleeping bags). Outside there is a bistro set and chimenea. We sell the fuel for this at cost, if required. Craven Arms has Stokesay Castle, Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Independent shops, Cafes, Takeaways, pubs, large supermarket and mainline station. We are not far the lovely Market towns of Ludlow ( Independent shops and eateries. Castle, Museum, Brewery, Gin Distillery and river), Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge Gorge and Shrewsbury We are an ideal place to rest, relax, unwind and chill. Leave the stress of work and children behind. We are an adults only site set in the rolling Corvedale Hills, Shropshire. Starry skies are beautiful here as we are an area of low light pollution Dogs are welcome on the Touring Pitches and in 2 of our Glamping Pods. Free WIFI is available. An ideal base for sight seeing, walking and cycling in the beautiful Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are a small independent run site who offer everything you need for a relaxing, childfree break in the country. Specific maps for walking and cycling are available on loan from the site. We are not far from Carding Mill Valley with a half hour walk to the reservoir, 1 .5 hours walk to the waterfall or a 3 hour walk round Long Mynd. Wenlock Edge also provides miles of walking. The pretty historic market towns of Ludlow, Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury are not far away. Ironbridge Gorge and it's 10 museums including Blist Hill Victorian Town, China Museum, Darby Cottages, Museum of The Gorge, Museum of Iron, Pipe Museum, Tile museum, Tar Tunnel, Toll house on Ironbridge, Furnaces and Enginuity is not far away. There are several National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area. Acton Scott Working Farm with it's traditional methods of farming is also near by. Other attractions include Stokesay Castle, Stokesay Court, Flounders Folly, Shropshire Hills Discover Centre, Ludlow food and Garden Centre, RAF Cosford, The Judges Lodgings. There is Ludlow Castle, Stokesay Castle, Shrewsbury Castle, Clun Castle for fans of castles. We are a quiet and peaceful site with noise kept to a minimum after 11pm. We have a modern toilet and shower block and washing up area.
