Welcome to Artopia Gallery - for signed, original watercolour paintings and acrylics. In my watercolours, I try to create restful, tranquil images whereas, in complete contrast, my abstract acrylic paintings are bold, bright and sometimes completely in your face! If you are interested in contemporary watercolours or abstracts in acrylic, then I hope my artwork will appeal to you.My modern art paintings, in acrylic and oil, depict pop-art portraits and abstract representations inspired by nature or retro colours and designs. This contemporary art style perfectly compliments today's neutral, clean cut interior decorating schemes, whether in the home or in an office setting. The original, signed watercolour paintings offer images of tranquil landscapes, seascapes and contemporary atmospheric scenes. Many are inspired by visits to the South of France, and others simply capture the atmosphere of places I've visited in the UK as I see them.
