Overview: This training course provides practical knowledge about the surveying of buildings for asbestos and the management procedures necessary to minimise exposure. Who should attend? Anyone who is required to undertake or commission an asbestos survey of non-domestic premises under Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations. What will you learn? You'll learn about asbestos legislation, asbestos in buildings and their public health risk, principles of asbestos surveys, risk assessment and risk management strategies, asbestos registers, methods for bulk sampling, suitable RPE/PPE and personal decontamination.
