Re-furbishing antique boxes
Jackdaw Boxes offers a re-furbishing service for your antique box. We draw up a specification for the work you would like done, give suggestions and samples where neccessary of materials we could use and tell you how much it is likely to cost.  When you are happy with the spec, you send us your box by post, or drop it in to our workshop in Somerset.  We keep you informed of progress and contact you by e-mail or phone if we have a query.  You can see examples of the re-furbishment process on  where we have two digital magazines. We can repair or replace hinges, mother of pearl, brass insets; re-glue veneer; repair slopes; re-line interiors with hand-made papers.  You can send us photos of your box and we can let you know if we can repair it or not.  We like to rescue antique boxes - so contact us if you would like our help.
