Jackdaw Boxes restores and sells antique wooden boxes that make great gifts for special occasions: weddings, births, graduations, retirement and more. They are ideal for storing precious personal items and for creating memory boxes. Each box already has its own tangible history and so carries the signs of time and use.Every box has been refurbished so it can be used for the decades ahead. When the boxes were originally made, many hours were spent by expert craftsmen and women using wood with rich grain and colour, brass, shell, leather and paper. They are a "gift in time" from a long-ago world. All of the boxes have their own immediate appeal - it is almost impossible to pass by a box and not lift the lid, or run your hand over the top.We also offer a refurbishing service for your own box - we will work with you to create a client brief to restore your box.
