Hotel Bookings: Hotelscene has thousands of hotels on its systems, both in the UK and overseas. Travellers and travel managers based anywhere in the world can search through, choose from, and book these international options. Hotelscene provides 3 operating models for hotel bookings: Corporate Xtranet online bookings: Hotelscene's Corporate Xtranet allows users to book hotels online with immediate confirmations. A hotel booking can be made after progressing through just five screens. Corporate Xtranet request bookings:In cases where there is no online availability, the booker, through Corporate Xtranet, can submit a request for their preferred hotel to the reservation team at Hotelscene for fulfilment of the reservation. Once the booking has been submitted the booker can view the progress of the reservation at any stage, either online or by calling our reservations team. Telephone, e-mail and fax bookings:Hotel bookings made directly to a reservation agent within Hotelscene. Conference Bookings:To meet the needs of today's conference organisers, Hotelscene has developed a new service offering called Conference Plus. This is an enhanced service built on the foundation of Hotelscene's 25 years experience in dealing with conference venues: a complete solution for all conference needs; from an interview room for two people right through to full event management for large groups.Conference Plus is a focused suite of services comprising of three key competencies: Conference and Venue Searching: a fully integrated search engine developed by Hotelscene which offers enhanced searching capabilities both directly to the booker through the Corporate Xtranet and for use internally by Hotelscene Consultants. Conference Value-Added Services: a range of additional services, such as Audiovisuals, that helps to make not only the organisation of the conference easier to manage and co-ordinate, but the experience at the conference more rewarding. Event Management: Hotelscene's creative and professional Events team can deliver a broad spectrum of event management services. For larger events, Hotelscene has agreements in place with other Event Management Companies who can integrate with Hotelscene's venue search and delegate management capabilities. Rail Bookings:In response to increasing client demand Hotelscene has now integrated The Trainline completely into the Corporate Xtranet to create a complete package for domestic UK hotel and rail bookings. Travellers can book their trip in one seamless reservation that allows them to choose their rail journey and a hotel at the destination they visit. The booking is confirmed both onscreen and via email to the booker or traveller. Tickets can be picked up from Fast Ticket machines at the departure station, or delivered by First Class post. Ticketless systems are also available where the train operators permit. The combined tool also provides integrated online management information to the travel buyer. Management Information:On Demand Reporting, based on the information stored in Hotelscene's Travel Data Warehouse, is a fully tailorable suite of Management reports that are provided online and in real-time to key individuals. Furthermore, Hotelscene can design a new report within hours. The array of Management Information we provide for our existing clients is exceptional and includes: 1Pre-trip reporting online and direct to company data warehouses 2Transaction level reporting 3Benchmarking reports 4Spend and saving reports by line of business, group of companies, project and cost centres. Technology at Hotelscene:Developing our own technology products makes us different. The award-winning Corporate Xtranet is the foundation of our client-facing range of products and gives us total flexibility to respond to our clients' needs. Unlike many of our competitor products which use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) as their primary interface, the Corporate Xtranet is not GDS reliant. In fact, less than half of all our reservations are made through the GDS. We also use direct connections to key suppliers and client specific allocations in order to ensure the very best availability. The Corporate Xtranet provides both a booking and Management Information system. It gives business-travellers a user-friendly way to choose from thousands of hotels or conference venues, while offering the travel-manager the knowledge that they are getting the best rates, low management fees, online management information, and excellent compliance.
