In this Bigrockdesigns course we demonstrate how to use WordPress to create feature-rich blogs and web sites. The course includes a walk-through of common tasks in WordPress, from setting up an account to launching self-hosted sites, and includes installing plug-ins, manipulating custom themes, incorporating search engine optimization (SEO), and integrating social media into your site. We will install external Wordpress themes and demonstrate the techniques required to personalize the theme with images, video, animation and so on. On completion the learner will have the skills to build a Wordpress website and to customise the theme to their exact requirements.
