Vivienne Brown has been practising acupuncture since 1974, is one of the longest established practitioners in the UK, and Member of the British Acupuncture Council. She studied Five Element acupuncture with Jack Worsley, expanded her studies with two courses in Colleges and hospitals in China, in Beijing and Nanjing, and interned with leading Chinese and Vietnamese doctors. She has lectured widely and taught graduate acupuncturists for 12 years on the Journal of Chinese Medicine intensive one-year courses in the UK and Europe.Vivienne Brown's style of working is sensitive and comprehensive, focusing on treating disease and discomfort together with optimizing the client's wellbeing through life-style guidance. Vivienne has taken psychological training as an adjunct to acupuncture, and, in a separate context, teaches meditation and healing.
