Land Registry Compliant Lease Plans

01/01/1970

Land Registry Compliant Lease Plans or Freehold plans are now a legal requirement when either a property or land is sold or let in the UK. Our plans are detailed, accurate and scaled to ensure your land registration application is processed quickly and efficiently. Since The Land Registration Act 2002 came into force on October 2003, all new leases granted for terms of 7 years or more or existing leases sold with 7 years or more to run must now be registered with the Land Registry, and part of the application process is to submit a compliant Land Registry Lease Plan. Our Lease Plans and Title Plans include a scaled plan of the property, all internal and external common parts and entrances and exits to the property. The demise of the property is outlined in red, with the common areas shown in blue, rights of way in brown and external demised areas highlighted in green. The types of lease plans we provide include Leasehold Plans, Freehold Plans, Title Plans, Estate & Block Plans, Location Plans, Site Plans, Boundary Disputes, Land Transfer Plans, Deed of Variation & Rectification, Management and Conveyance Plans. The plans also include an ordnance survey plan, scaled at either 1:1250 or 1:2500. This plan shows the position of the property in relation to the surrounding buildings and the local area. This is also required by the Land Registry.
