European Computer Driving License Online
The ECDL is the ideal qualification for anyone who needs to develop their IT skills and/or demonstrate that they are fully competent in the use of the computer and computer accessories. The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is the internationally recognised qualification for computer users. ECDL improves learners' understanding of computers and promotes efficient use of software. The course opens up a variety of opportunities through the broad range of skills it provides. The qualification is widely recognised by employers as proof of ability and competence when working with IT. There is no specific group that chooses the ECDL; participants join from many different sectors of society, including second-level and third-level students, teachers, employees, retired people and the elderly. These groups choose the ECDL because the syllabus applies to both business and personal situations. The online learning packages include examination registration and examination fees from the test only option. It also gives participants unlimited access to the ECDL online learning platform for one year. Also, it is available in the new Microsoft Office 2010 version and allows participants to complete tasks, activities and mock examinations that enable them to prepare to complete their ECDL.
