Carro Lounge is in the heart of the Cwmbran Centre, next to the Congress Theatre and overlooking Gwent Square. There’s a large terrace with plenty of outdoor seating and really big floor to ceiling windows running all along the front, bringing the light in to our lovely space inside. Our interiors have the most spectacular floral wallpaper, vintage lights and a riot of pictures and paintings. And our name? Carro is Italian for ‘wagon’, in honour of the mighty Wagon Wheel, made nearby at the Burton’s Biscuits factory. Yes, wheely.
