Walked-up woodcock/mixed species
At our Hargham & Quidenham and Great Hockham Forestry Commission land shoots we organise some excellent walked-up days for a variety of quarry including woodcock. Our Great Hockham Forestry Commission Land has some ideal areas for woodcock with manys woods, copses and forestry alongr with plenty of wet areas so loved by woodcock. We have some resident breeding pairs but most of our winter population migrates in from Russia and Scandinavia typically arriving around the last full moon in November.
