Skell Wrought Iron prides itself for manufacturing quality hand made, hot forged, wrought iron work since 1957 when my father started the business. All my work is to either made to my unique designs or to customers specfic requirements "one offs" in contrast to the mass produced ironwork available elsewhere. I make a wide range of items from gates, railings, handrails, sercurity grills, curtain poles & tie backs, weather vanes, hanging basket brackets, rose arches, bird feeders, window boxes backets, boot jacks & boot scapers, bike stands and the list goes on. I tend to work within a 15mile radius of Ripon, North Yorkshire. Any item that has scroll work in their design are hot forged by myself and not bought in as some manufacturers do. So when you by an item from Skell Wrought Iron, in the majority of cases, the item is 100% hand made.
