Tony Bostock is a keen local historian have been studying the history of Cheshire especially the Northwich and Middlewich areas for fifty years. He has written a number of books and articles on various aspects of Cheshire History. As well as being a member of a number of academic societies in the region, he has been chair of the Cheshire Local History Association and is a member of its executive committee. he is also on the committee of the Northwich Heritage Society
