Cedar Manor, a family-owned, small, boutique hotel in Windermere, is perfectly located for exploring our beautiful world heritage site, the Lake District National Park. We believe that our attention to detail, unique room designs and furnishings and friendly service are a very important part of a relaxing and enjoyable stay. With 7 rooms and 3 suites including the Coach House Suite which is 764 sq ft. We also offer a luxurious afternoon tea.

Wonderful Stay
Just returned from a wonderful 3 days staying in the Orrest Suite at Cedar Manor. We had afternoon tea on arrival which was honestly the best we have ever had. The room was lovely and comfortable and the rest of the hotel was immaculately kept with beautiful interiors. Our hosts Jonathan and Caroline were so accommodating and were very helpful with their knowledge of the area in terms of walking routes and eateries. Breakfast was also amazing with a great choice of locally produced ingredients. Looking forward to a return visit soon!
Hidden gem in the Lake District
Best afternoon tea we've ever had. The waitress and Jonathan were lovely. The afternoon tea is divided into 4 courses, pre starter, starter, main (sandwiches), desserts (assorted). Very generous and a bargain. Lots of choice of fresh loose tea, blue lady is the best. Tea refills are infinite as well. So so so beautiful and delicious. If you're in the area it's worth a visit. Favourite part was the beautiful cucumber sandwiches, salmon, and the choux pastries with creme patisserie. Absolutely gorgeous. There's parking on site too. Thanks for the great experience ❤️
