Digital poster printing for Mengele Play
Zest Printing was recently asked to do digital poster printing and flyers for the play, 'Mengele' that will be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe August 2017. The play was recently premiered at the Printers Playhouse in Eastbourne where members of the Zest team have been to watch this remarkable show. Our client is Tim Marriott, the recently retired Head of Drama at Eastbourne College to whom we have pleased to provide printing services for many years. Tim has co-written and performs in the powerful new play 'Mengele'. Staged by Smokescreen Productions, the play documents the life of infamous Nazi doctor, Josef Mengele and is a powerful exposition of one of the most notorious war criminals of all time. This provocative new drama imagines him on the beach, where he ultimately had a stroke whilst swimming, and sees him brought ashore by an enigmatic local woman, who cajoles, questions and finally confronts him. . We understand the play was originally created with close advice and support from the Holocaust Educational Trust. We delivered 6000 flyers and 250 posters to Edinburgh ready to promote the Play at the Fringe. 'Mengele' will be performed at The Edinburgh Fringe, August 14th-20th at Sweet Grassmarket: 4, Apex Grassmarket Hotel, Vevue 18.
