The company has two shop premises in both Weymouth and Yeovil (Dorset) and a well established internet shopping service with website and dispatching office's also in Weymouth. The Weymouth store was opened in 1928 by John Henry Meech and his wife Ruth and is now ran by David Meech his oldest son Kevin Meech along with a loyal team of staff, some of which have been with us since the mid 80's. The Yeovil store was opened in 1971 and is managed by Michael Purchase nephew of David Meech. Meechs.co.uk was founded in 2000 by the youngest son Andrew Meech. Since it was founded in 1928 the business has continued to prosper and remained in the family through three generations maintaining a prominent trading position in the local market place.
