Kate Derbyshire is a Artist & teacher and living in Cardiff Wales. Specialising in community and school workshops, using ceramic ,mosaic and mirror to create large scale artworks for permanent display. most of the work created is 2d but 3d pieces can be made. I make work suitable for installation booth internal and external. I also work on painted projects and with willow and tissue paper, to create large 3 dimensional animals, insects and flowers.I enjoy working with community groups as we can usually work to a large scale. I find this greatly enhances the participants feeling of achievement ,as they have been part of creating something very special with a high profile.
