To tackle these challenges, we are in the process of developing a new concept called 'Clinical Networks Northern England' to describe a stronger and increasingly more focused alignment between existing clinical networks, groups and programmes Using a programme of facilitated events to focus our collective expertise, we have developed a strong clinical consensus as well as creating innovative solutions to some of the key challenges we all face Since the publication of our regional strategic vision in May 2008 we have continued to work closely with clinicians and other staff from across the region to refine and implement improvement plans
