Premium Canvas Prints are Giclee printed onto specially developed professional 340gsm canvas. This technically advanced canvas, which is a cotton polyester mix, has very high white base coat without bleaching which provides an excellent contrast for your image. The canvas is also extremely strong and durable. We use purpose made 4cm deep European pine museum quality stretcher frames, these sustainable softwood frames allow the canvas to breathe and adapt to seasonal changes in humidity without sagging. The rounded profile of the frames provide minimal surface contact with the front of your canvas to prevent 'frame ghosting' in the image. Standard Canvas Prints are Giclee printed onto 100% Polyester based canvas. They are mounted onto 4cm MDF Frames. All Premium and Standard canvas prints are heat-sealed with a 50 micron laminate film which protects the print from scuffing and adds extra UV light filtering and will not yellow with age. The lamination sinks into the texture of the canvas and provides a light sheen to the finished product. Unlike varnish or lacquer the lamination will not crack when the canvas is stretched over the frame. The specialist pigment based inks used to produce your canvas, utilise Canon's latest IPF Series 12 ink Printers, these inks are designed to be fade resistant in excess of 75 years. Due to the modular nature of our frames, we are able to produce almost any size from 8" to 40". Above this size we use 5cm deep Tulip wood hand crafted frames which are made to order. Call us for more details. Our canvases are supplied with a custom hanging bracket to enable wall mounting of your canvas a simple process straight from the box. These brackets can simply be hung from standard picture hooks or a simple screw in the wall.
