About meMy name is Alasdair McBroom and I was born in 1971. I have lived in the coastal town of Whitehead, County Antrim for most of my life. Like my father before me I have worked as a professional photographer for most of my years.Since leaving college in 1990 I worked in a professional printing lab for three years. After that I freelanced for several of the top Northern Ireland press agencies. A regular freelance contract with the Belfast Telegraph brought me up to the start of 2009. It was then, after eight years, that I decided that the other developing aspect of my business, wedding photography, was at a point where I could concentrate on it alone. So currently I am a wedding photographer with a passion for landscape photography.Over the years I have picked up several national awards for press photography and more on a global scale for documentary wedding photography.
