Castle dales ponies, breeding the most beautiful dales ponies in the North Tyne Valley of Northumberland.We started our small stud in 2005 by purchasing brood mares from Colliery, Westwick and Bolam studs.We aim to breed a few foals each year and these foals will usually be for sale, see our for sale page for a current list of our dales ponies for sale.

After spending five years in the Caribbean we decided to return to Great Britain in 2002. My husband Alan and I decided that it was time to do our own thing so we opened a gift shop in the lovely market town of Hexham in Northumberland. Within two years and with much persuasion I had started to experiment with my hobby of "leading" glassware and was soon selling my own product in our shop.This really gave me the confidence to pursue Wildflower Studio full-time so we sold the shop and I became a genuine cottage industry; our home was never to be the same again.After more than two years of chaos at home we opened our first studio, where we produced more variations on our designswith the input of our regular customers and studio visitors.In June 2009 we decided it was time to return to Hexham to open GIFT our studio/shop where we will continue to develop our business back where it all started, after all, there's no place like home!
