The company was founded in 2017 in a joint venture between top-10 housebuilder Keepmoat Homes and modular company Elliott. ilke Homes manufactures high-quality, affordable eco-homes from its 250,000 sq ft factory. It uses Building Information Modelling to create digital frameworks of its homes, reducing the potential for defects and ensuring more cost-efficient material supply orders. 90% of a home is built at the ilke Homes factory. These homes can be built in just one week and come equipped with everything from kitchens to bedrooms, before being delivered by lorry to sites across the country and installed onsite. The company has won multiple industry awards including the Sunday Times British Home Award for its 'Hundred House' in partnership with architects HTA design.
