Grampian Hospital Radio currently broadcasts to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and Roxburghe House, from our studios located at Ashgrove House We have over 50 members, who are involved with all aspects of the organisation, including presenting, request collecting, fundraising and technical Unlike local commercial and national radio stations, we provide a service of a more personal nature, with more interaction from the patients and staff at the hospitals At both stations, our members visit the wards on a regular basis, to speak to the patients and find out what music they would like to hear Patients and staff are encouraged to visit our studio and phone in with requests

When we were preparing to compete with the schools from Aberdeen, we met up every Friday and even had to take some periods off, mainly in Maths, to be as prepared as we could be
