The Red Cow Gallery showcases tiles produced by Gabrielle Dudley. Whilst there are a few tiles available to buy 'off the shelf' the main business is in creating tiles that cannot be sourced commercially. Each customer has different requirement: size, shape, colour, finish etc. The tiles are made to commission specifically for each customer giving them exactly what they want in each of these four areas. Tiles don't even have to be square! Tile shapes are made to fit around designs so that when it comes to applying a painting to a frieze there is no grid of grout to interfere with the image. The result is a beautiful flowing image that is totally unique, so that a series of similar images will all be slightly different because they are hand made; in other words valuable artworks.Gabrielle Dudley is an artist with amazing capability and The Red Cow Gallery also showcases her paintings, So don't ever worry that a hand painted mural might look naive.
