Tremle House Residential Home is a private home for the elderly, registered for 19 residents, accommodated in 17 single and one double rooms. Run and managed by current owners since 1997. Very good reputation amongst the social workers, health professionals and in the extended community. It is HOME FROM HOME, where Residents' welfare, care and well being comes first.The Home is 9 miles outside Carmarthen, South West Wales, on B4459 road, in a village of Pencader, set in its well kept grounds of 1.5 acres. It is a Victorian building with extension and throughly modernised with passenger lift, double glazed windows, central heating and bath hoistsThe Home provides 24 hours care of highest professional standards appropriate to the needs of each Resident. This care is provided by a team of very experienced and NVQ qualified staff under direct supervision of the Manager. The Residents' wishes are respected and are treated with dignity in their physical, emotional, spiritual, social and psychological needs. Mrs Vilas Karimjee, proprietor and manager, works in harmony with all the staff to monitor and manage the day to day running of the Home and protects the interests of the Residents by liaising with the families and friends. She assists Residents in making decisions if they are unable to do so. She also implements care plans with the care team and, where appropriate, with the Community Nursing Services.The Residents are encouraged to preserve the pattern of life previously enjoyed in their home, with freedom to participate in a variety of activities including religious service, hair dressing, outings, alternative therapy. Our experienced cooks cater for special dietary needs, and because of high calibre of our trained staff we have won the Wales National Training Award and have been awarded 'Investors in People'.
