The Wedding Scene organise vibrant wedding shows throughout Dorset, Somerset & Hampshire - we love matching couples with their perfect wedding professionals. We solely organise independent wedding fairs, and ensure we have everything you could need, from bridal-prep, to wedding day services, right through to honeymoons, we've got you covered. A bit about the director The Wedding Scene's driving force, is the director, Charlotte (hello!). I started working in the wedding industry in 2014, designing award-winning wedding stationery for couples all over the UK, which introduced me to the world of wedding fairs, and then they stole my heart. I love the buzz of excited couples but now I get to introduce them to the suppliers of their dreams, I get double the enjoyment! I've always been a strong advocate of small businesses, and passionate about helping them grow. I'm a compulsive organiser, and I love weddings. Thinking about it, I may have actually been created in a laboratory, expressly for the purpose of organising wedding shows. How we've grown Since our first wedding show, in 2017, we've gone on to create Dorset's largest one-day wedding show and we're continuing to expand our reach into new counties, and much larger wedding exhibitions. We've also created PRIDE Wedding Shows in Bournemouth and Portsmouth! A warm welcome awaits LGBTQ+ couples, with experienced wedding professionals showcasing their services via materials that better represent a love story more like your own. About the Shows At each of our shows, couples can peruse a wide range of information boards to empower them in their planning, a meticulously designed decor inspiration area to help inspire them and all of our incredible exhibitors to make it all come together for them. That is at every one of our shows, no matter the size or location. We go all out on décor, having developed our own catwalk and fashion show staging and decoration, exclusively to fit our vibe, whilst displaying gorgeous wedding-wear of course (it's OK, we know you're there for the dresses really). So, if you're looking for a fun and productive day out, visit one of our shows; be inspired, learn what's important to you, book, hire or buy everything you could need and most importantly - enjoy your wedding planning knowing you're booking the best! If you're a wedding professional, we'd love to hear from you about joining our wedding family.
