Our cottage is situated in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd Ruthin is situated just 30-40 minutes by car from the countryside of Snowdonia, the North Wales coast and the centre of Chester ideal as a holiday base. The town is steeped in history, at Ruthin Castle you can book a mediaeval banquet and the recently restored old Ruthin Gaol is worth a visit. There are excellent walks from the doorstep, where you can get wonderful views of the Vale of Clwyd and there are plenty of local pubs where good food is served, the nearest one being just 10 minutes walk away. The area is very popular for cycling, for both touring and mountain biking , or you can just relax and take in the wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The accommodation is situated on a working farm and has been lovingly renovated to a high standard, from what used to be the dairy to a cosy cottage. It sleeps four, but could easily accommodate a fifth person, also a baby cot can be provided by arrangement.
