De Souza Dance Centre provides excellent quality training for students of all ages abilities and fitness levels.Whether our students aspire to have fun, keep fit, perform professionally or all three, Jo De Souza will support them towards their goals in a friendly and safe environment. Children can enrol from the age of 3 years and classes are available for all levels including adults. The school is run and managed by Jo De Souza dip pdtd rad rts . Jo had a 13 year career as a principal dancer in some of the worlds greatest ballet companies and danced regularly with Wayne Sleep, touring the world and also making tv appearances. After her successful performing career she trained as a dance teacher gaining 'distinction' in her teaching diploma - The Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma at the Royal Academy of Dance. Jo is also a fully qualified pilates instructor - qualified to teach both mat and machine work. She teaches, coaches and choreographs extensiv

We have also made very successful concert tours to Denmark, Prague, Florence, Vienna, the Costa Dorada in Spain, and Southlake in Texas There is a strong interest in music in and around Tring: with a Church choir, local Choral Society and amateur operatic groups, theatre and jazz, brass bands and orchestras, all of which are strongly supported by our parents Jess donated a refurbished oboe of hers and we are thrilled also to have received two gorgeous oboes from the Needlemans and from Mr S Nathan at the Royal Opera House
