I have been collecting gorgeous, sumptous fabrics and matching buttons for a long time hoping that one day they would come in handy, well now they have! I just love making cuddly rabbits, super soft fleece baby blankets even Appliqued Vests & printed kids T-Shirts. I immediately drift off to my own little world of cosy kids bedrooms filled with plush cushions & play tents and beautiful decor. ​ I have always loved making things and it has now finally come to fruition, I am constantly thinking of new ideas or looking around for inspiration. I originally set up in business decorating wedding venues, selling & hiring out glassware for wedding receptions but soon realised I wanted to create unique handmade gifts and decor such as bunting, cushions, toys, play tents as well as note book to gift tags, so with much support and encouragement from my husband, I decided to set up The Pink Peony Room & I love every minute of it! ​ I feel so lucky & humble to be making a career out of something that I love doing. I would like to start upcycling small pieces of furniture but at present all my time is taken up with sewing, knitting, card making, my grandson and two demanding dogs!
