Rock Charcoal Grill has been serving Saltley from 10 Alum Rock Road since 2018. The kitchen is built around a live charcoal grill, and that is where the two dishes people travel for come from — chicken cooked slowly over the coals until the smoke has worked right through it, and our kobedah kebab, minced and seasoned in house and grilled to order. Beyond the grill, the full menu runs to curries, biryani, wraps, paninis, burgers, pizza and fish and chips, so a mixed table is never a problem.
