Mariam Quran Tutor is a UK-based online Quran academy, founded in 2022 by Dr. Jamil Ur Rehman, a qualified Quran teacher and Islamic educator with a PhD in Quranic Sciences and over 10 years of online teaching experience. Every lesson is private and one-to-one. Students are never placed in crowded group classes, so each child or adult learns at their own pace with a teacher who gives them full attention. Our team of more than 30 qualified, ijazah-certified and DBS-checked teachers includes both male and female tutors, so sisters and girls can always request a female teacher. We teach in English, Urdu or Arabic, which suits British Muslim families whose children grew up speaking English, as well as reverts starting from the very first letter. Courses include Noorani Qaida, Quran reading with Tajweed, Qira'at, Hifz (Quran memorisation), Quran Translation, Tafseer, Quranic Arabic, Salah, Islamic Studies and Ijazah. Children can usually begin from around age 4, and adults of any age are welcome. Lessons are available in the mornings, evenings and at weekends, and can be rearranged when needed. Parents receive regular progress updates so they always know what has been learned and what comes next. Monthly plans start from two classes a week, with discounts on six-month and yearly plans. We teach families across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, Leicester, Glasgow and Cardiff.
