ABOUT HOMEOPATHY Homeopathy is a safe and gentle system of medicine which homeopaths believe assists the body's ability to heal itself. Homeopathic remedies are given in minute doses, are non-addictive, non-toxic and do not cause side effects. As a holistic therapy, homeopathy treats you as individual, taking into account all your physical, mental and emotional symptoms. Homeopathy naturally complements conventional medicine. I am happy to work with your GP and other health care professionals to ensure you get the best treatment possible. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How many appointments will I need? Typically a course of treatment may require three or four consultations, although further appointments may be necessary, depending on the complexity and severity of your particular health issues. Why can't I treat myself? You can. Basic homeopathic remedies are available from health food shops or chemists for common ailments. But, for more complex conditions it is best to consult a professional homeopath. How much do you charge? The first consultation (lasting over an hour) is £40 (£35 for children). Subsequent consultations (45 minutes) are £30 (£25 for children). The fees charged include prescribed remedies. Some or all of the cost may be covered by health insurance companies, such as Simply Health.
