Fire Marshal Training
Fire Marshal/Warden Course  Course Aims   The training aims are designed to enable staff that have a supervisory role in the fire safety management of a workplace to meet the requirements of the Fire Safety Order 2005.   To give staff practical training in the use of first aid fire fighting equipment on early stage fires. Target Personnel   Managers/Staff with a fire safety designated responsibility. Course Duration   3.5 hours.Training Outcomes   At the end of the course delegates will be able to; Explain the role of the Fire Warden in relation to workplace fire safety and current legislation. Explain the principle of means of escape and recognise the importance of fire drills and evacuation. Explain the principles of combustion and fire spread within a building. Recognise the importance of compartmentation within a building. State what actions to take on discovering a fire.  Understand the principles of effective evacuation in an emergency situation.Understand basic human behaviour in a fire situation and understand that it may vary from what is expected.Have a good understanding of the use and limitations of workplace fire fighting equipment. (Theory and practical)
