NWCRF is one of the UK's longest running medical charities. We have raised over £28.5m to fund vital research into the fundamental causes of Cancer since our formation in 1948.All our funding is raised in the North West and spent in the North West, with research taking place in Liverpool University, Lancaster University and Bangor University.The majority of our funding comes from the hard work of our volunteer committees in the region.We are proud to be able to say that nearly 90p in every pound raised goes directly into research.
