Northampton School of Drawing (NSD) was created by John Luce Lockett the internationally recognised painter in 2009 in order to teach people how to draw representationally from scratch and develop the skills of more experienced draughtsmen and women without interfering with their natural style. Certificate Courses run for 5 weeks both afternoon and evening at a cost of £60 Conc £50 plus a seasonal £10 per course models subsidy. NSD has a friendly atmosphere with small classes mostly taught with the use of a life model and anatomical instruction but with application to all forms of subject matter. Northampton School of Drawing also offers Specialist Day Courses,Open Life Classes on Thursdays and Monday evening Art Lectures with slides. All refreshments provided free.
