Ardfern is situated at the head of Loch Craignish on Argyll's west coast and is an ideal base for boat trips to the islands of Mull & Iona to the north or Islay and Jura to the south as well as local tours from Ardfern Marina. There are many breathtakingly scenic cycle and walking tracks in the Mid Argyll area as well as sailing and water sports.
