Blind Love in Venice

What a magical city...no matter what time of year I visit this spectacular city I am always amazed by its beauty. The strange thing is I have actually visited this city more times than I have London! Despite my apparent familiarity with the city I always enjoy getting lost in the little alleyways and always fall in love with this beautiful city! Lets face it, it's a photographers dream, the mystery of the canals and the rustic beauty charms you. And for me the chance to photograph uninpinged by a, (lovely) wife who wants to look in all the shops was a treat! Vic Bussey and Joy Cole and the Team from Award Travel laid on the most extravagant and beautiful stay for their Landsbanki and guests. After arriving by private jet and transferring to The Hotel Gritti Palace on the Banks of the Grand Canal they were attired in authentic period costumes. Their portraits were taken, (by me) before being treated to a serenaded trip by gondola to a masquerade ball. Nothing was too much trouble for Vic and his excellent team who made this once in a lifetime trip a memory that will burn brightly for many years to come. Portraits were printed before the guests returned as a beautiful souvenir, and if the odd guest did consume a little too much Barolo each guest has their own personal copy of a beautiful Graphistudio book of the visit. Here's a snapshot of the visit, and how the other half live...well at least in the 18th Century!
