The Woodland Skills Centre is in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North-East Wales. With 50 acres of woodland and well-equipped workshops it runs a range of courses in coppice, greenwood, woodland and other crafts for people of all ages and abilities.The courses include basket making, coracles, wood and stone carving, bushcraft, timber frame building, stool and chair making, bee-keeping, making and using a pole-lathe and woodland management.The Centre also runs family activity holidays where parents and children can explore the woods, learn about what is in them and learn and use craft skills to make a range of products.There is free camping for people on the courses with access to w.c. and shower.
