Alex Urquhart-Taylor is an Edinburgh based Highland bagpiper who has been playing the pipes since the age of 12. Dressed in full Highland regalia, Alex can add a sense of occasion to any event, be it a wedding, corporate event or any other special day.As well as playing Highland bagpipes, Alex also plays the Scottish Border pipes, the smallpipes and whistles. He can solo, or as part of a small group. Alex also plays in a ceilidh band, Òr Ceilidh Band, who regularly play throughout Scotland and further afield.
