The centre offers people the opportunity to gain skills, training & accreditation through volunteering, courses, college placements & work experience. Partnerships with organisations such as ACCROSS, Bootstrap & InTraining allow people to gain and share new skills in a working environment.John, a former Bootstrap candidate, was given the opportunity for a 6 month placement through the Government 'Future Jobs' Scheme and progressed to full-time employment as a Web Designer & IT specialist with Agapao International.As a UKOnline Centre, we offer basic courses enabling people of all ages to access IT & web based services, job search & CV writing; all with support and guidance.June, aged 76, attended a 'Get on with IT' course and now keeps in touch with her family online.Meeting and Training Room Available for hire on an hourly basis or a day rate.Accomodates 16 people conference style and 30 people theatre style.Equipped with an 82" interactive whiteboard, PC with internet access and Microsoft Office, white board and flip chart; suitable for all types of meetings and training events.Situated on the ground floor with disabled parking and access at the rear of the building.Free parking available in the surrounding area.Refreshments available - self catering or catered for.IT Suite11 computers with XP & full office 2010Wide range of software and courses.Situated on the ground floor with disabled parking and access at the rear of the building.Available for hire on an hourly basis or a day rate.Services AvailablePhotocopying, printing & binding facilities.
