The Chesterfield Musketeers are "Marching Back The Chesterfield Carnival" after 25 years. All money raised will be donated to Charity. The Carnival is supporting and raising funds for Ashgate Hospice. Be a part of this fantastic day... Stand Road Park, Saturday 26th July 2014, to be held with the support of Chesterfield Borough Council, on Stand Road Park in Chesterfield. The aim of this event is to raise money for Ashgate Hospice alongside creating awareness of local services, clubs, groups and companies available in Chesterfield. This event is community inclusive with optimum involvement acknowledging equality of all. The aim being a resulting benefit for the area which will last through the year until the following planned event in 2015. There is a firm 'inclusion not seclusion' element throughout the event, with inclusion of everybody living with or without difficulties, be these health, educational, societal, financial or any other aspect of life that encounters prejudice; purposely or unknown. The fun packed day will include stalls, games, Proctors Fair, Real Time Live, live music, crafts, football, well-being promotions, clubs, groups, service providers... the list goes on! After the carnival has closed for the day, the celebrations continue at Real Time Music, who will host an evening of live music. Who is going to be there? Nearer to the big day we will have a full list of stall holders, show times and activities available at the carnival. While we are busy organising and arranging the full programme for the day, we will list here businesses and organisations who have already confirmed their involvement.
