A DREAM COME TRUE

01/01/1970

I suppose my point is; If you are given something and you find it appealing you should be allowed to enjoy it, even if it requires supervision. What I perceived at the age of six as beautiful was in innocence and without the pressure of advertising or peer groups. At fifteen, I wanted like most girls my age to be part of the crowd. A flowery rose covered dressing table set was not in keeping with my Jimmy Hendrix poster or tie dye T. shirts. As you get older you are more able to appreciate things for what they are and how they are. That is why I believe I have such a love of Vintage clothing and lifestyle. So much these days is mass produced, is of poor quality and will never stand the test of time. Over the last twelve months I have worked hard to develop an online store with not just a range of pre owned clothing for sale. But, to expand on the vintage life style and include a remake service and also a range of remade/recycled items. These are all created from items which would have ended up in the tip. They were originally vintage but have seen better days. Using vintage fabric, embellishments and materials I give them a new lease of life, often turning them into something completely different. So now, years after being given that lovely gift I am able to get great pleasure from sourcing similar lovely vintage items for people who, like me appreciate the quality and originality of the past. It's a dream come true really. My online shop is open with new items being added daily, and I would like to welcome you. Thank you for visiting PAST PASTICHE and, going back for the future.
