As the largest provider of leisure facilities in Somerset and North Devon we offer an inspiring range of activities delivered by people who love what they do. Our aim is to help you achieve an active body and active mind. So whether you're in your teens or simply want to feel like a teenager again, we've got the perfect activity for you! Why we live 1610 To help people live fuller richer lives through an active body and active mind. Here's our little run down of what it means to live 1610. We live to go the extra mile (s) Well you'd expect us to; we're in the fitness business! But seriously, we get a real kick out of delighting customers through exceptional service, as well as helping people be the best they can be - whether they're working with us or working out. We live to show diversity If we could have a middle name, it would be 'Diversity'. Instead we show our diversity through the incredible range of activities we offer, to the people we employ and the customers we attract - from the young to the young at heart - diversity is in everything we do. We live to be fun loving adventure seekers We believe fun and adventure can be found in everything - not just in the places you'd expect (like our activities and every day services) but in the places you wouldn't. Fun can even be found in ordinary tasks. We live to inspire others When you love what you do, you can't help but inspire others. Our people love what they do and it shows. Whether it's taking a customer through their first fitness programme or showing an employee the ropes, we inspire people to take an active role in their personal and professional lives. We live to be true to ourselves We're not pretenders, we don't need to be. We're proud of who we are. Our identity is what makes us special - and approachable. We live to show no fear We fly in the face of convention to create unforgettable experiences - from outdoor adventures to memorable learning programmes (and lots more in between). When it comes to a challenge, whether mental or physical, we take it on, no holds barred.
