Winchester Kumon Centre offers twice-weekly Maths and English classes with daily home study to build confidence, subject skills, independent learning, speed and accuracy for school and for life. Winchester Kumon Centre has been operated by Rachel Reeve, an experienced graduate teacher, since 1996. Rachel carefully assesses each child before they start the programme, then offers an individualised programme of study to allow every student, whatever their ability, to reach their full potential. Winchester Kumon students have gone on to study their chosen subject at various universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. Rachel says 'Many of my students come to me initially because they find Maths or English difficult, others start Kumon because they are looking for more challenge in these subjects. Whatever their reasons for starting Kumon, long-term students all benefit enormously from their studies. Every day I am impressed by the power and flexibility of the Kumon programmes! It is very exciting to be able to help those students who are struggling with their school lessons, as well as challenging those students who are excelling in maths and English. I love the opportunity to be involved with the education of individual students over many years, often seeing them develop their skills from Primary school to GCSE level and beyond. '
