Wickenby Aerodrome has been an active airfield since the 1960s, and was used as a satellite station for operations by Lancaster Squadrons 12 and 626 during World War Two.Today, Wickenby Aerodrome is home to many successful companies and a thriving aviation community made up of professional and recreational pilots. Wickenby Airfield also homes Fly365 flying school, an active flying club, World War Two memorial collection, Flights for Life charity and a cafe/bistro in the old Control Tower.
